Not a very good rabbit.

When I was very very small, my grandmother made a small stuffed animal for me. In truth, it was a mouse. Perhaps it was a rat (you would have to know my grandmother). But, I had never seen a rodent before, so I guessed that it was a rabbit - a very poor rabbit.

Secure Unix administration and setup: Specializing in Linux (all flavors) and FreeBSD, the servers I build are secure from the ground up, and fast. Already have a server, but need something installed? No problem; I'll get your web-server, database, or statistics package running in no time. While it would be irresponsible of me to guarantee 100% security (a mythical state, to be sure), I can tell you that no server under my direct supervision has ever been broken into.

about :: History

In mid 2000, I left the .com world to join the freelance consulting group, zeroDef Design, in San Francisco. The goal of zeroDef was to acquire larger contracts as a group than any one of us could as a totally independent contractor, particularly those requiring varied skillsets. It worked well for a couple of years until, in mid 2001, the .com market completely bottomed out, and there were fewer and fewer "big" jobs to be had, so we each struck out on our own.

Since then, I have been helping small companies keep costs down, and servers up across the country from New York to California.
