September 2000 - April 2004: Principal, Unix Systems Admin, Web Developer, poor rabbit Consulting. Build and manage servers providing e-mail, webmail, DNS, web services, telnet, SSH, FTP, database (MySQL, Oracle), file sharing (NFS, CIFS), and printing services. Architect, design and implement ecommerce web sites [db design and normalization, SQL programming, SSL auth, HTML, CSS, Javascript, etc] primarily in PHP with a MySQL or Oracle backend.

June 2001 - Current: CTO/Lead Software Architect, LearningRefined LLC. Fully responsible for development of notes and coursepack delivery system, website and intranet design, and deployment of dynamic e-commerce website.

April 1999 - August 2000: Senior Unix Admin, Versity.com/Collegeclub.com. Administration of Solaris and Linux servers providing email, DNS, Apache, Oracle, and application-servers (Coldfusion and ATG Dynamo). Responsible for successful migration of small-scale ColdFusion/Oracle backend to Enterprise scale servlet (ATG Dynamo) and Oracle backend. Maintained LAN and WAN network services, including multiple T1 lines, Dial-up, VPNs, and firewalls. Outlined, implemented and enforced best-practice security policies. Setup and maintained inter-office NT file servers and domain controllers, MS Exchange servers, and Altigen Phone server. Also worked as Acting CTO to convert Collegeclub.com site architecture from NT/ASP front end w/MS-SQL backend to NT-COM front end, Solaris-Oracle backend. Maintained vendor and ASP relationships. Coordinated conversion and migration to new architecture.

Network trouble shooting, installation and maintenance of WinTel systems. Systems design and procurement/installation for small businesses ( < 15 users) and private individuals.

December 1995 - August 1997: Computer Systems Consultant I, University of Michigan, Information Technology Division. Managed UNIX server with approximately 75 users and twelve external X-terminals for use by 4-HELP consulting staff and referral consulting staff. Systems administration, security, hardware and software upgrades, providing user community with user friendly X-Windows interface configurations. Maintenance of development/backup server. Operating systems include SunOS 4.1.x and Solaris 2.5.x. Configuration and maintenance of Apriori, user and referral group management. Wrote email generation scripts notifying Referral Consultants of new referrals, updates in referral status, and reports for management. Creation/maintenance of UNIX based tools designed to make the life of 4-HELP and Referral consultants easier. Responsibilities include implementation of "Handsfree" web based interface to Apriori Document databases.

November 1995 - December 1995: Computer Systems Consultant II/III, University of Michigan, Information Technology Division. Provided front-line telephone support for University of Michigan computing community of 40K users. Supported: MS Word and Excel for Windows and Mac (all versions), dial-in networking for Windows 3.1, Windows 95, and Mac-OS; user level UNIX support; DOS, Windows(3.1/95), and Macintosh operating systems configuration and troubleshooting; user level MTS (mainframe), Netscape, telnet, FTP, Pine (e-mail), Fox-Pro, Powerpoint, and Adobe Photoshop. PC configuration and maintenance. Resolved multiple version compatibilty issues. Developed scripts to "autoload" machines. Worked directly with users whose problems were too complex to be answered by front line consultants.
